December 10-14, 2012

Winter seems to slowly be creeping up finally! Preschool classes will be going outside when the weather is above twenty degrees. We have some extra coats available, but please send your child with an appropriate coat for the day.

This week we are going to talk about Christmas traditions around the world! If you are wanting to help your child practice songs for the holiday program here is what we are singing: Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. We have some other songs we are singing as well, but they are really easy.
Coming Up....

Holiday program: Tuesday December 18th at 6:00. Please have your child here by 5:45 so we can line up. We encourage the children to dress their best, they have worked hard for the performance.

Classroom party: Friday December 21st from 10:00-11:00. We will have games, crafts, and snack. A volunteer sign-up sheet will be made available soon.

Winter break: The preschool will be closed December 24-January 1. We will re-open on Wednesday January 2nd.

Show and tell Fridays: something that is bumpy or shiny
Reminders: Please make sure your child's cubby has extra clothing (multiple pairs of underwear, socks, a shirt, and a pair of shorts or pants) and bring a water bottle every day. Water bottles can be left and we ask that you take them home your child's last day of the week to rinse out.
