January 2-6, 2012

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I can't believe it is already 2012, time is just flying by.

Preschool is in session this week, but the elementary school will return on January 9th. To get into the building please go around to the north side and knock on the window outside of the preschool classroom to get let in to the door. Thanks!

100th Day of School: Thursday January 5th is our 100th day of school, I can't believe it! To celebrate we encourge your child to bring in a collection of 100 things. Easy things to find around the house could include: stickers, paperclips, cars/small toys, cotton balls, pennies/coins, etc. Be creative! We will be making gorp (trail mix) together for snack and count 100 of each of our ingredients, I am excited for the celebration. For more ideas on what to bring visit this website:

Book-it: Bring back your completed December book-it forms to get your Pizza Hut coupon for a free personal pizza. January book-it forms will be coming home this week to start filling out.

Baby News: Mrs. Sykes has had her baby!! She gave birth on the evening of the 23rd to a beautiful boy named Isaac. We are so happy and excited for the Sykes family and hope to get a visit soon from Mrs. Sykes and the new baby!
