What wonderful weather we had this weekend, hope everyone had the chance to get outside. We will be starting our alphabet and math introduction this week as we continue to do assessments individually with the children. We have also been practicing our alphabet in sign language and they are doing fantastic!

Shape and color: square and rainbow
Weekly centers:
Dramatic play: playing house
Art: macaroni names-this helps with name recognition (feeling their name) and fine motor skills while gluing
Math: sorting modes of transportation
Large motor skills: pattern blocks
Show and tell: I realized that I put the wrong dates in the class newsletter for show and tell. We will be doing show and tell every friday. The theme this week is fee choice
Reminders:
Please be sure that your child puts his/her lunch box into one of the lunch baskets located on top of the cubbies. This helps lunch time go smoothly, thank you. Items needed every day are: labeled water bottle, sheet, and blanket for nap time. Thank you for helping your child be prepared for school.
