October 22-26, 2012

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Welcome back Mrs. K from working the school book fair, the kids are really excited she is back! This week we are reviewing the letter L, R, and T and continuing our study on Colorado and farm animals.

Shape and color: Rectangle and orange

Dramatic play: kitchen/restaurant
Art: creative projects (students are given a variety of materials to work with to create anything they want)
Math: floor puzzles
Fine motor: train table
Building: wooden blocks

Monday:

Tuesday:
Spanish and music
Wednesday: -Colorado: learning about landmarks, state bird, state flower, state flag, etc.
-Science: farms and farm animals

October Hapenings:


Fall Party: We will be having a class party on Wednesday, October 31st from 10:15 to 11:00. Parents are welcome to volunteer or just come and enjoy the party. Students are allowed to dress up in costumes, but no face paint or scary outfits.

Reminders: Please make sure your child's cubby has extra clothing (multiple pairs of underwear, socks, a shirt, and a pair of shorts or pants) and bring a water bottle every day. Water bottles can be left and we ask that you take them home your child's last day of the week to rinse out.
