November 5-9, 2012

October has come and gone and we are already in to November. This month we will be starting new curriculum themes. Keep an eye on the weather to dress your child appropriately for the day. If you would like to leave a jacket on your child's hook for the week that is fine. We will be doing some fun projects this month and learning about the tradition of Thanksgiving. Near the end of the month we will be doing a project in class about what we are thankful for, this is a great opportunity to discuss this topic at home!

Remember parents are always welcome to volunteer in our class. Mornings work well during center time or in the afternoons after nap. We have a parent that comes in regularly on Monday afternoons to do crafts with the class. If you are interested in volunteering you are welcome to e-mail Ms. Scheffer or talk to a teacher in class.
