September 17-21, 2012

The autumn chill is in the air and it is time to start bringing jackets to school. Although it warms up in the afternoon our morning recesses are becoming quite chilly. This week we are focusing on the letter F. Some ways to help reinforce the letters your child is learning at school are to play simple games. You can go on an alphabet walk and look for things that start with each letter of the alphabet, have your child call out letters they see on signs on the drive home, or have them circle the letter of the week on the kids menu if you are eating out. The possibilities are endless! Our community helper dramatic play center is classroom, they love playing teacher. This week we are also doing a teambuilding center. Instead of the students building their own creation, they will be working together and sharing ideas. Hope you have a great week!
